Description
The Iyanough Farm barn studio is a wonderous place. It’s full of fiber and yarn, spinning wheels and a lovely Baby Wolf loom, usually warped for what we call “Barn Scarves.” These lovely one of a kind scarves are made from a wool warp and wefts of handspun wool skeins of all kinds, sometimes mixed with silk or alpaca, and from lots of different sheep breeds. We’ve just taken another 3 skeins of the loom this week -all of them woven in Dornick Twill for lots of texture and cuddle. Our barn scarves are approximately 65” long with a short fringe, perfect for wrapping around your neck in a cold wind or dressing up an overcoat on a dark winter day.
